Reduces Scar Marks: If you have any scars on your face (or anywhere else), then you should try this essential oil. As a cicatrisant, it diminishes scars and the after marks left by acne, pimples, or pox on the skin. Add to a 2 ounce squeeze bottle: 10 drops of Galbanum, 5 drops of Helichrysum and 5 drops of Copaiba, then fill with Jojoba oil and shake to mix well. Apply enough of this mixture to cover the inflamed area and massage into the skin.
Bath salts: Combine 1 drop of Galbanum, 1 drop of Frankincense (Frereana) and 2 drops of Frankincense (Serrata) with 1 tablespoon Jojoba oil and 1/2 cup Epsom salts. Stir together and add to running bath water for a relaxing soak.
Relax blend: Add to a personal inhaler and inhale as needed: 5 drops of Galbanum, 5 drops of Bergamot and 5 drops of Ylang Ylang.
Rejuvenates the Skin: The essential oil of galbanum has certain effects on the skin that everyone desires. It rejuvenates aging skin and gives it a younger and toned look. It also pulls up sagging skin, frees it from wrinkles, and basically gives you an organic facelift. Stretch marks and fat cracks on the skin are also diminished by this oil. Add 1 drop of Galbanum to 1 teaspoon Rosehip oil. Apply to face, neck and the back of hands.
Detoxifies the Body: This oil is a good remedy for boils, acne, and abscesses since it helps to remove the toxins from the blood. Furthermore, it regulates the production of certain hormones, which in turn affect the production of sebum from the sebaceous glands and helps get rid of skin conditions like acne.
