Established in the year 1851 by Sir Isaac Merritt Singer, ‘Singer Sewing Machine Company’ has been a pioneer in manufacturing and selling sewing machines for 170 years. The company created its foothold in India in the year 1871 and has since been synonymous with sewing and stitching across the country. While continuing its glorious journey, the company was acquired by “Indian Sewing Machine Company Limited” in the year 1977.

Singer has two major business segments–Sewing Products and Home appliances. Our range of home appliances span across food processors, dry iron and steam irons, mixer grinders, Sandwich makers and toasters, hand blenders, etc. The company has recently added room cooler and water heaters to its wide product portfolio. The Sewing products are marketed under the brand “Singer” & “Merritt” with showrooms, distribution networks and a very strong after sales service network Pan India.
