JJC LH-78II lens hood is designed to prevent unwanted stray light from entering the lens by extending and shading the end of the lens. In inclement weather, it can assist in keeping moisture or wind-blown debris off the lens; and it protects the front barrel from the inevitable impacts against walls, door frames, and other real-life obstacles. The bayonet mount is designed to also work in the reversed position, allowing the hood to be placed backwards over the lens for a more compact storage solution. The hood allows you to put on a ?72mm filter and a ?72mm lens cap. JJC LH-78II replaces Canon ET-78II lens hood.
