The Rokinon 100mm T3.1 Cine DS Lens for Sony E-Mount answers the challenge of assembling a set of lenses utilizing a multi-layer coating process for consistent color rendition. The lens comes in Sony E-Mount, and it features industry standard geared focus and iris rings that share common position with other Rokinon Cine DS lenses. This high speed telephoto cine lens features a circular 9-blade diaphragm for superb out-of-focus highlights (Bokeh), a non-rotating filter mount, high performance ED glass elements, UMC anti-reflective Ultra Multi-Coating, close focusing to only 1 foot and is tightly color matched to the Rokinon Cine DS lens system. In addition, the Rokinon 100mm T3.1 Cine DS features de-clicked aperture control, standardized focus and aperture gear positions for quick lens changes with follow focus devices, calibration in T-stops and dual calibrated right and left side distance and aperture scales. The 15 glass elements in 12 groups render sharply defined images with a minimum of distortion and chromatic aberrations, with a minimum focus distance of 1' from the lens. A removable lens hood provides flare protection when shooting without a matte box, and the lens's threaded front accepts 67mm filter rings.
