  • Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. After the oil heats up, add mustard seeds and allow them to pop, followed by asafoetida and curry leaves.
  • Add the True Elements steel cut oats and green chillies and lightly stir it over low heat. Add chopped onions, carrots and peas and cook for another 2 minutes.
  • After the veggies are partially cooked, add water to it. Throw in the salt and chilli flakes. Mix it well and allow the mixture to come to a boil. Lower the flame and allow the mixture to be cooked for 5 more minutes. Stir continuously.
  • The flame can be turned off at this moment. Serve with a garnish of fresh coriander leaves.
  • Cook the steel-cut oats in a pressure cooker up to 3 to 4 whistles. Allow the pressure cooker to cool.
  • In a pan, heat the oil, add the mustard seeds and asafoetida powder. After the seeds splutter, add the green chillies, curry leaves, ginger and chopped vegetables.
  • Now throw in the salt and turmeric powder and cover the vegetables and allow them to cook.
  • Add the cooked steel-cut oats and toss to combine. Turn down the heat. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves, add a few drops of lemon juice to add that zing and enjoy!
  • Steep the steel-cut oats with milk in a container or mason jar. Add Kiwis, Cashews and other desirable fruits and nuts to it and close the container tightly. Refrigerate this mixture overnight or at least for 4-5 hours.
  • Next morning, mix the mixture well. Add the dash of salt and nutmeg powder. Drizzle the True Elements Raw Honey and you are ready to go. Throw in your favourite toppings and savor the delicious bowl of joy.
