As the story begins, you are imprisoned and taken towards an execution by the Imperial Legion in Helgen. Along with you, there are a number of Stormcloak soldiers who are led by Ulfric Stormcloak. Suddenly, while you are being taken, a dragon arrives and attacks and destroys the town of Helgen. Presented with a chance to escape, you head to a town called Riverwood.
