Tomb Raider is a highly addictive action game that takes you on a nail-biting adventure as soon as you step into the shoes of Lara Croft, the protagonist of the game. The Tomb Raider PS3 third-person title meant for the advanced gaming console comes with discrete graphics and allows you to take on different teams in the multiplayer modes like Team Deathmatch, Private Rescue and Cry for Help. You can carry forward the weapons and destroyable environments from your single-player campaign. This Tomb Raider video game is set on the Yamatai island at Dragon's Trail close to the coast of Japan and has an engaging story to tell. Yamatai was once ruled by Himiko, the Sun Queen who could control the weather, but not much is known about the history of the island.The PS3 Tomb Raider game revolves around Lara Croft, an archeology graduate who convinces the Nishimura family originally from Yamatai, to fund her expedition and sets out on an adventurous voyage on a ship called Endurance. The ship ends up in Dragon's Triangle and all the people aboard are thrown apart as a violent storm strikes their vessel. Lara ends up on Yamatai, away from everyone else and gets kidnapped. She manages to run away as her captor dies, but this is definitely not the end of her problems in Tomb Raider for PS3. In spite of all this, she decides to stay on the island and complete her expedition. So brace yourself for some nerve-wrecking adventure, as this mission in the Tomb Raider PS3 game by no means is going to be a dull one. Are you ready to embark on this journey as Lara Croft?
