• Pak of 50 Microscope Slide 3? x 1? is a thin flat piece of glass used to hold objects for examination under a microscope. Made of high quality soda-lime glass, these microscope glass slides are frosted on one end, with ground edges and 90 degree corners. Ideal for use in the diagnosis and investigation of all types of specimens, slides have undergone an automatic cleaning process, which makes them ready for use upon arrival.
• White Glass frosted microscope slides are produced using a unique chemical etching process. This provides a smooth frosted finish that won't wear out slide marking pens. These slides are pre-cleaned and ready to use. They are individually inspected and free from moisture, dirt, and film. All of our slides are flat, uniform, durable.
• Slides should be kept horizontal (flat) with the specimen side up. If they are stored on edge, the cover glass or specimen may shift out of position. Take care not to stack slides on top of one another or apply pressure to the cover glass. Standard shelf life for glass microscope slides is approximately 2 years if the above transportation and storage conditions are followed.
