• MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING 1. Always disconnect the appliance from the mains before cleaning it. Wipe the outside with a damp cloth. The accessories can be washed with soap and water. DESCALING IS IMPORTANT which should be done every month as follows: Fill the tank with water and add 6table spoons of vinegar. Operate the coffee maker as you would for making plain coffee. After that, repeat the operation twice with plain water to remove all traces of vinegar.
• TO CLEAN THE STEAM TUBE NOZZLE unscrew the nozzle by using the hexagonal slot in the measuring spoon (Fig A & B). lf the nozzle is blocked, clean it by using a needle (fig C). Clean with water and replace it (fig D). Before using the Espresso bar Coffee Maker for the first time, wash all accessories such as coffee Filter, Jug, Jug Lid, Adaptor and Measuring Spoon with soap and warm water.
• IMPORTANT: 1. Check that the voltage of your premises and that the coffee maker coincides. Connect the 5 Amp.3 pin moulded plug provided with the coffee maker to a socket which is properly earthed. Please do not cut the cord to suit your convenience to connect it to mains without a plug' or to fix a 2 Pin Plug to the cord'
• 2. Do not use the coffee maker with a damaged cord or damaged plug'. Never immerse the cord of the appliance in water or in any other liquid'. Take special care when using the appliance' when there are children around. DO NOT use the coffee maker without water'
• 3. Make sure that the water tank lid is properly closed before using the coffee maker. Do not leave the appliance near a heat source and make sure that the cord does not touch anything hot. 10. Do not add milk, tea, coffee or sugar to the water in the water tank'
• 4. The appliance must be used only for domestic purposes'. The appliance is under high steam pressure during use. The Water Tank Lid (B) must be opened ONLY AFTER the steam pressure has been released through the steam tube and the On-Off switch (A) is in the off position'
• Clearline customer service: - This product carries a warranty of 12 months from the date of purchase against defects caused by faulty workmanship and materials. The warranty excludes defects caused by the product not being used in accordance with instructions, misuse, accidental damage, and tempering with by unauthorized persons. In the event of any defect arising during warranty period, the same should be taken to your nearest dealer or wholesaler.
• It will then be taken care of as per the discretion of the companys representatives. The warranty does not cover damage / defects caused by events beyond control like act of god, lightning, abnormal power supply/ voltage fluctuation.
