The cork is lightly sealed to provide additional protection against water damage and gives the cork a lovely finish similar to rich leather.
• SAFE AND SECURE: A pour over carafe of any size (the largest 10-cup Chemx pictured) sits comfortably on top of the indented Companion. The indent is thoughtfully placed, designed to ensure your pour over coffee maker doesn't slide out of place, protecting it from bumping into anything that may be next to it.
