It complies with IEEE802.3at and IEEE802.3af standards, providing 802.3af power levels when powered by any 802.3at source. The extender can expand the Ethernet network range by an additional 100 meters (328 feet), with a maximum extension of 700 meters (2296 feet) using six units in cascade. Easy to set up with no software installation or configuration required, it is ideal for security camera CCTV surveillance, access points, IP cameras, IP telephones, and other network equipment where power lines are unavailable or power outlets are distant.
