SR Rollers from Dr. Pulley widens your shifting spectrum higher and lower due to their special shape. Now, you can improve acceleration values and achieve higher top speeds, all with one single set of specially formed rolls. If you look at a normal variator roller after some time, you will find that they are usually flattened in one place. The rollers do not roll in the variator housing but slip. Mostly in the same place and as they are used more and more. The consequence of these now non-round wheels is that they now slip very unevenly, which has an equally uneven acceleration of the scooter as a result. In addition, cheap variator rollers commonly available online do not necessarily have very tight manufacturing tolerances. (The OEM standard rollers and most other manufacturers come with up to 0.3-gram tolerance, while the Dr.Pulley SR pulleys come with just 0.05gr. Dr. Pulley - has now taken advantage of this unwanted flattening of the rollers by "flatting" them by default. The SR rollers are no longer round, but polygons. See the photo. The shape is also the secret for the slightly increased maximum speed. These "rollers" do not rotate irregularly any more but always remain in the same position. Even with wear after many thousands of kilometers, evenly on all 6 rollers, so that they remain balanced with each other, only suffering a common minimum weight loss.
