Child safety window guard for non-sleeping areas. John Sterling JS-BK-1138 is an 8 Bar, 30 x 24-42 inch basic fixed mount window guard. Powder coated, white finish on steel. Expands to fit width or height of 24 to 42 inches. 27 3/4 inch crossbar height; 30 inch overall height. Protects maximum of 34 inch opening. Bar Spacing: 3.5 inches. Exceeds 4 inch recommended safety standard for child window bars. Bar Diameter: 5/16th Inch. Strength Test: Tested to withstand 150 pound force at maximum extended width. NOTE: This is the window bar unit only. No screws, mounting brackets or locking channels are included. You must purchase installation items separately.
