Banister Y-Spindle Rods for Baby and Pet Safety Gates This 2 pack of pressure gate Y-spindle rods from PAFOWO is designed as an adapter to help your gate fit banisters at the bottom of stairways. It can be used against banisters, railings, balustrades, and other round supports. It can also be used on angled wall corners or other unorthodox places where a Y-shape spindle rod will fit. Available in 2 standard sizes. M8 fits gates with a 7-8mm diameter opening. M10 fits gates with a 9-10mm diameter opening. See compatibility info below. M8 bolt diameter 12cm (4.7 inches) long Works with pressure mounted gates Use In Combination With PAFOWO Extra Long Spindle Rods To install your gate at the bottom of your stairs, use 1-2 PAFOWO Y-Spindle Rods against your stair banisters, depending on the design of your staircase, and normal spindle rods for the remaining flat surface contact points. If you need replacement normal spindle rods or your existing spindle rods will not reach, use PAFOWO Extra Long Spindle Rods (sold separately) to help extend the maximum width of your gate. Note: Pressure mounted gates are not suitable for use at top of staircases. Only certified hardware-mounted gates should be used in that location. Use a maximum of 2 banister adapters for each installation, to ensure a strong fit. Use standard spindle rods for connections on remaining flat surfaces.
