Hold the paw of your pet securely and make a shallow cut at one time to avoid cutting into the quick and hurting your pets. Use safety stop to avoid cutting too much. 3. If your pet's nails are too long, make a shallow cut first and trim again in roughly a week. This allows the quick to retract over time as nails are trimmed. 4.Use the file included on the bottom of the left handle to trim the nail burrs clean. 5. Lock the clippers after use by sliding up the button when compressing the handles tightly to keep the blades closed to avoild any accident or damage. Warning: 1. Don't use it for other purpose. 2.
